Last chapter we saw a close ally of Arthur tear his hand apart and we got to know more about Chaos and the creature that always despised Chaos.
The cover of the last article says “A partner of the past transformed into a beast of betrayal”. Cath aka Cathpalug was born from the Chaos itself and now wants to be the Chaos king himself by stealing power from Arthur.
The power of Chaos is in Arthur now and Merlin believes Arthur to be the rightful king and the person worthy of using the power of Chaos.
Cathpalug bit Arthur’s hand off and sucked the power from the arm to transform into a powerful beast. The seven deadly sins are ready to go against the beast but Arthur stops themselves asking them to give Cath another chance.
Arthur still thinks of Cath as a comrade and tries to talk with him but Cath shows his true power and is going to be attacking Arthur again to steal his full power.
Arthur seems content that Cath sees him as a threat and makes Arthur go full power and slash Cath in two halves. Arthur has regained his holy sword and is more powerful than before but falls to the ground and Merlin bids goodbye to the seven deadly sins and move away with Arthur.
The chapter is getting more and more intense and we can’t wait to read the Nanatsu no Taizai Chapter 340. The spoilers and raw scans will be getting released soon and today we will be discussing what will happen in the next chapter.

What To Expect In Nanatsu no Taizai Chapter 340
The Nanatsu no Taizai 340 is going to be intense, Merlin has left with Arthur and now the Seven deadly sins are left behind with questions in their mind.
They are still unclear on how strong Chaos is and if reincarnated, will Chaos act good or wage a war against the world? The Nanatsu no Tazai needs to be on their foot if Chaos strikes again, Meliodas needs to get stronger if he wants to win against Chaos because we all know that Chaos is going to be super strong when reincarnated at full power.
We are still unclear on why Merlin disappeared with Arthur and what her true intentions are after Arthur becomes the Chaos King. Will she wage a war against the seven deadly sins and the world or she will quietly let the world go as it is.
