We might see our favorite characters as grown-ups. Tanjiro married to Kanao, and Nezuko to Zenitsu would be a nice ending.

Although according to raw scans for Demon Slayer 204, Demon Slayer Chapter 205 will feature 24 pages.

Where it all began?

The story is set in a world, where demons threaten the existence of humanity. There are demon slayers who use nichrin swords to kill those demons.

The story started with a young boy Tanjiro Kamado, who had an extraordinary sense of smell, and lived with his mother and siblings. He sold charcoal to raise money for his family. On one such day, when he came back after selling charcoal, his peaceful life came falling.

He found his whole family mutilated by demons. Out of everyone, only Nezuko, his younger sister, seemed to be alive. To act fast, he carried her to get medical help. On his way, to get help, he noticed some changes in Nezuko. Eventually, Nezuko became a demon.

She tries to attack Tanjiro. In between this, they meet a slayer named Giyuu Tomioka, he tells Tanjiro that his sister is no longer a human. He tries to kill Nezuko, but is stopped by Tanjiro. Tomioka notices that, Nezuko acted differently compared to other demons. She tried to protect Tanjiro.

Seeing this he sends them to Sakonji Urokodaki, where Tanjiro eventually learns to become a demon slayer.

How it went?

Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer under the guidance of Urokodaki, who also was the former Water Pillar (Hashira). He learns water breathing technique.

After graduating as a demon slayer, he begins his journey to find a way to turn Nezuko back to being human. He found out that the demon behind the attack on his family was Muzan.

He carries Nezuko on his back inside a wooden box, since demons can’t survive in sunlight. While on an assignment, he feels a familiar smell, which he smelled while he was at the house after the attack. Without a thought, he chases towards the smell, but gets caught between crowds.

He gets Muzan’s attention, but couldn’t catch him, as he gets away. He meets Lady Tamayo and Yushiro, who are demons trying to stop Muzan. After listening to his story, she agreed to help them.

Throughout the journey, Tanjiro tries to get blood of higher-level demons, as Lady Tamayo can research a cure using them. While on an assignment, Tanjiro meets Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma, who graduated along with him. While they had a rocky start, their friendship started to grow deeper as their journey continued.

On one of the assignments, they encountered a life-threatening scenario, where they were against a family of demons, Spider Family. They realized that they were up against one of the lower moons, Rui. He held the Lower Moon Five positon.

Rui got fascinated between the sibling bond of Tanjiro and Nezuko. He got jealous and desired the same bond. He went against Tanjiro, while Inosuke was fighting the Father, and Zenitsu fought the elder brother.

Throughout the clash, Tanjiro when backed to a corner, came up with his technique which he called Hinogami Kagura, which we later found out in the series is a type of Sun-Breathing sword style.

Though he couldn’t kill Rui, since Rui used his threads to separate his neck. Backup arrived in the form of Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho. Shinobu went to help Zenitsu, while Tomioka killed Rui with the eleventh water-breathing form, Dead Calm.

They had to face demon slayer organization, where no Hashira were in support of keeping Nezuko alive. They eventually got the permit from the head of Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

Together they went on missions, while working with some of the pillars, such as the Flame Pillar, the Jade Pillar, and the Mist Pillar. The series faced a heartbreaking moment with the death of the flame pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku. That is also when, Tanjiro finds out about sun breathing.

While on the mission with the Mist Pillar at the hidden village, The Swordsmith Village. Muichiro Tokito (Mist Pillar) and Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Pillar) unlock their Demon Slayer mark, which is said to make their nichrin sword bright red. Nezuko also becomes immune to the sun, after the battle between upper moon demons and slayers.

When Muzan finds out about this, he begins preparations to kidnap Nezuko, and devour her to conquer Sun. This leads to the battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the Upper Moon Demons.

How does it end?

To declare war against Demon Slayer Corps, Muzan attacks Ubuyashiki, which turns out to be a trap to get Muzan. Ubuyashiki dies along with two of his daughters in a self-triggered blast.

After which the battle begins, Muzan pulls every one of the demon slayer corps inside his castle, which is controlled by one of his Upper Moon demons.

In the battle, a lot of lives are lost. While the Demon Slayer Corps managed to kill all of the Upper Moon demons, they lost many pillars, as well as many promising demon slayers.

Back in Chapter 202, when they were about to kill Muzan, he merged with Tanjiro. Since, Tanjiro carried the same blood as Nezuko, he became the ultimate demon who Muzan wanted to be. Muzan wanted Tanjiro to be the apex predator in the world.

While, his plan failed, as back in Chapter 203, when Tanjiro bites Nezuko, he reverts to being human along with the help of Shinobu’s medicine and Kanao’s assistance. With this, they wiped out the traces of Muzan.

Will there be a sequel to Demon Slayer Manga?

While there hasn’t been any announcement on a sequel for Demon Slayer post chapter 205. We still can think about theories that are possible, if a sequel is announced.

We know that Muzan had full control of other demons, as they had his cells. There might be some demons, who are still around. Since the battle wiped out all the high-level demons. There wasn’t any discussion about minor demons.

While those demons are not that powerful but they still have Muzan’s cells. We know that Muzan holds many skills. There could be a possibility of him reviving using his cells in one of the demon’s body.

We might see that this threat arises, when our favorite characters are adults.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 anime has been delayed because of the pandemic and fans are hoping that the infinity movies doen’t get delayed as well.

One Piece Episode 930 and Black Clover Episode 133 has been also delayed with no future release date.
